Vacation Part IV - Zoo and Home

The Denver Zoo was the final destination on our trip.  The girls were averaging 0 naps a day at this point and both parents were severely sleep deprived... but as soon as we walked through the zoo's front gates, we all caught our second wind.

Candy necklaces sustained the girls on our 7 hour drive back to Minneapolis. 

Finally we made it to Grandma and Papa Willoughby's house.  After a bath and some some snuggles... we were all excited to be sleeping in separate bedrooms again!

We loaded up the next morning and finished our drive home.  A great family vacation... one the girls will hopefully remember bits and pieces of someday and one Mom and Dad will never forget!
