His Day

He was the kind of dad that jumped right in.  In fact, when H was born, I never changed a single diaper in the hospital because he was all over it. 

He's a dad that has figured out how to (for the most part) match shoes, to outfit, to hair bow... and (for a guy) does a pretty good job of styling fine blond hair in the morning.

He's a dad that nightly has to make up stories of castles, mermaids, princesses, ballerina's, mean dragons... and has his girls loving every minute of it.

He's a dad that has two little girls that love him to death.

In a house full of women...
if you get new clothes you have to try them on right away. 
So Daddy "got" to model his new swim trunks for us!

We packed a lunch and headed to the park to celebrate his special day.

That night we grilled out and enjoyed his traditional homemade "Father's Day Key Lime Pie".  Dinner was followed up by a water balloon fight!

On his special day, we make sure to celebrate... because he's pretty special to us and always puts himself second when it comes to his girls.
