First stop, the Denver's Children Museum. The girls went from being fire fighters, to train conductors, to rodeo cowgirls riding a pink bull.
Holds her fish like a pro.
H catching a giant bubble, this was her favorite thing at the museum.
"choo-choo" our little train conductor.
Next up, the Denver Aquarium. At lunch we were treated to a private mermaid show. H has been obsessed with all things mermaid for almost a year, so the look on her face when she saw them... melted this Mama's heart. Probably my favorite part of our entire trip was just watching her stare at the mermaids in complete amazement.
During the show both girls got right up against the glass and the mermaids would swim down and tease them. Blowing kisses, making silly faces... both girls were 100% awestruck.
The mermaid stuck her tongue out at H and made her giggle.
H's sweet face. Just in awe at seeing "real" mermaids.
Our little goofball with mac and cheese all over her face.
We bought the girls some mermaid figurines. They got a lot of use on the trip.
The girls had fun feeding the stingrays. When Q finally got to touch one, she jumped back and said, "Ewwwww, yucky Mommy!"
Back at the hotel the girls had fun swimming and wrestling with Daddy.
Love how much fun you had at the Children's Museum and Aquarium in Denver! Will looks like he's got some superb bubble skills! That room is our fave, too. And the mermaid pics are priceless! Soooo cute!
