We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. This year we went to Kirby Farms in Bonner Springs. It's a smaller pumpkin patch, but the perfect size for our girls to explore and have a great time.
The baby farm animals were a huge hit with both girls. The haunted house... not as much. As soon as we entered the house, a Witch with glowing green eyes started cackling at us. Harper grabbed me tighter and said, "I don wike it Mommy!". About half way through Harper tells us, "wets go back outside."
We did the giant slides, zipline, climbing tubes, tire swings, and sand box multiple times. The haunted house... we only did it once.
Checking out the animals. Q couldn't stop smiling and mooing at the calves.
H's eyes lit up when she saw the zipline. She HAD to do it by herself.
She loved it and did it over and over again!
At Kirby Farms in 2009. H is 11 months and I'm pregnant with Q.
Someone insisted (by pointing and screaming) that SHE should get to do the zipline too.
Q picked out her own mini pumpkin. She carried it everywhere all by herself.
The girls with the pumpkins they picked out themselves.
Stopping to clean rocks out of Harper's shoe.
H wanted to carry it on her head... moments later she dropped it and the stem broke off. Surprisingly no tears.
It was too cute... Q carried her pumpkin by the stem everywhere she went.
