Last weekend my mom took Harper and Taylor to Build-a-Bear for their birthdays. So many girlie things, so many choices, so many smiles.
Harper, unlike her mama, is decisive. She picked out her favorite animal and stuck with it. She didn't waiver when she saw a sparkly purple kitty... didn't even think twice when we showed her the pink curly poodle.
| So many choices... which one would it be?!?! |
And the Winner is???
Soft, huggable, completely adorable.
Harper saw the puppy and was in love. |
| Holding her puppy, waiting in line to stuff her. |
| Pushing the pedal to fill her puppy with stuffing. |
Squeezing puppy tight to make sure she has
just the right amount of softness. |
| Rubbing the heart on her knee so that her puppy likes to run and jump! |
| Giving her puppy's heart kisses so that she is loveable. |
| Giving their animals a bath. |
She looked at each outfit closely...
then picked out the rainbow princess with light-up wings! |
Harper insisted her puppy needed shoes.
And they had to be "parkly" to match her shoes. |
| Taylor filling out her bears birth certificate. |
Harper "helped" me fill her birth certificate out.
Her hands were going a mile a minute hitting random buttons. |
We gave her puppy the name "Pinky" on her birth certificate. With those shoes, it seemed fitting.
The next morning Harper woke up and asked, "Where's my Maggie?". And she's called her Maggie ever since. Not sure where she got the name, but its cute and 100% her decision.
Welcome Maggie, the newest member of our family. Harper is taking great care of her... she even puts her on the potty and tells her, "you need to go potty Maggie!"
AWWW so cute! Joey's still got his "Cheetah" the snow leopard he got when he was 3 at build-a-bear. It's been Cheetah ever since and it's gone to every hospital visit and still his first choice to sleep with at night. :) Looks like it was a fun day with Grandma!
