A Boy and His Dog

Before kids, we really worried how Al (aka Albie) would handle the adjustment.  Kids were loud, fast, crazy... everything that made him nervous.

But he LOVES the kids.  Wants to always be in the same room as them.

Since they were babies he would play with his soccer ball right beside them.  Often nudging it in their direction.  The girls played along to some extent... but Crew loves it.

He will grab the ball and stick it in his mouth and Albie just watches.  These two have become fast buddies.  If Crew is crying in his room, Al sits outside the door... a look of worry on his face.  He is loyal companion through and through. 

Crew's taking a nap, so Albie is laying outside his door.  Keeping watch!
