Introducing Ernie

Meet Ernie... He is our Elf on the Shelf.

Legend has it... Ernie will come visit us every December to watch if the girls are being naughty or nice.  At night, he flies to the North Pole and reports to Santa what he observes.  Each morning when the girls get up... he is in a new hiding place, waiting to be found.

Lately I have heard a lot about other families elves being ornery and causing mischief.  Last week, I decided it was about time our Ernie found his wild side.


The girls woke up Friday morning and looked in the mirror to find....

Their noses were red just like Rudolph!

After a hot tip from Mommy... we went on a mission to find Ernie to ask what happened?!?!?!

This is how the girls found our ornery little Elf!!!

Harper put two and two together pretty quickly... "Ernie, you naughty elf, you cowored my nose wed!!!  I'm going to tell Santa you were naughty!"

They she asked to call Daddy and Aunt Erin to tell them what naughty Ernie had done.

Phone on speaker... retelling Daddy about her "wed" nose!

She was beyond animated as she retold them about her red nose and how Ernie had snuck in to her room and colored it red.
