Christmas in a Whirl

The two weeks surrounding Christmas seemed to fly by as we traveled hear and there visiting family.

This year was special because the girls were both old enough to get excited, to appreciate the Christmas lights and decorations in our house, to count down the days until Santa came (or Ho, Ho, Ho as Quincy called him), and Harper had it down that the real reason we celebrate Christmas is to cherish the Birth of Jesus.

Our Christmas was amazing this year and it all happened in a whirl...

Christmas at Grandma and Papa Willoughby's House

Wearing my dance outfit from when I was only 4 years old.

Quincy wasn't feeling the photo session.

She loves her Papa... pretends to call him all the time on the phone.

Snuggling with "puppy"... she has three that she carries everywhere.

The grandkids just keep multiplying.

All glammed up with her new dress-up accessories.

Christmas at Grandma and Papa Long's

Playing the piano with Grandma.

We had a Princess and Superhero to keep us entertained.

H loving on Aunt Christie

Checking out the crochet angel Great Grandma Long made

Christmas Morning at Our House

Santa brought a wagon and LOTS of blocks.

We don't get many photos without a portion of a dog in them.

2T obviously is still a bit too big for Q.

The light-up ball... Q's favorite (and cheapest) present.

Hanging her ornament from Santa on the tree.

Trying to take Albie's present away from him.

When we wouldn't let Q play with H's new video game...
she found other ways to amuse herself.
