Capturing the "Perfect" One.

The challenge... getting the "perfect" family photo.  With three kids under four, the reality of this is slim.  In fact, the Chiefs probably have a better chance of willing the Super Bowl this year then we do of having all three cooperating at the exact same time, for a moment just long enough for a camera to click.

We were lucky enough to have a friend take pictures for us.  Whitney was awesome and won the girls over instantly with balloon animals (which she made herself).  She took photos of the girls by themselves first and the results are amazing.  The girls couldn't look cuter and were all about saying "cheese".

Then it was time for the family photos.  It was almost like the kitchen timer had gone off.  Willingness to sit still and smile was lost, Crew was hungry, daylight was rapidly disappearing.

In the typical sense, no we didn't get the "perfect" family photo, but we did get several photos that captured the girls personalities.  Sometimes its the imperfect photos that make you smile the most... the ones that you remember weeks and months from now.  Q's annoyed look that photos have gone on long enough, or H licking her lips because that is the phase she is going through right now, or C crying as H holds him maybe a little bit too tight. 

Funny that we didn't get the "perfect" photo, but I'm struggling to pick out my favorites to print and hang in the house.  Too many that make me giggle and warm my heart.
