At Last

As we all know it was a dry and HOT summer.  Not just an occasional scorcher, but day after day of 100+ degree heat.  No break, no relief, 7 day forecast that look like they were on a loop from week to week.

Finally... a hurricane from the gulf brought us some much needed precipitation.

Rain boots and umbrellas finally were put to use.  And two little girls had so much fun splashing around in the backyard.

Side note... its about time to get a zoom lense.  This is as close of picture as I could get from the comfort of our dry house.
