Today is the last day I will refer to us as a "Family of 4". Tomorrow our new little guy arrives... and since I've been up since 4:30... you can probably imagine that the excitement is starting to get the best of me.
His nursery is ready, sitting empty waiting for him to be brought home. Bottles are washed, tiny clothes laundered and neatly folded, the swing that both girls loved sleeping in so much is sitting in our living room ready for its next occupant...
We're not perfect, but we are definitely a house full of love, patience, chaos, imagination, pink, fun, adventure... and we can't wait to introduce Baby Crew to it all!
This pregnancy I have "nested" like a mad woman. I'm lucky to have a patient husband that didn't have the heart to tell me "no". Below are a few of my projects.
I hope Crew gets Q's silliness, ornery grin, spunk, cuddly side, ability to always make us laugh, no fear attitude, and love of animals.
I hope Crew gets H's sweetness, imagination, uncontrollable laugh, eyelashes, determination to take on challenges, and creativity.
He is going to be one lucky little guy to have these two for his big sisters.
It's crazy to think of how quickly our family of 2 has grown into the "Fab 5"... but I wouldn't have it any other way. As I often tell people... our house is going to be pure chaos, buts its the kind of chaos that I will embrace and cherish.
